To increase muscle mass and strength you may not need to spend hours in the gym after all. Or not as many hours as some people like to think, it is all about feeding your muscles what they need to grow and thats protein. But eating just protein and doing workouts won't fuel your body and give it the energy it needs to train. You need to eat fat, carbs and protein so that you can train hard to build those muscles. Your muscles don't grow while you are training and this is why it is so important that you give your body time to rest.
When a lot of people try to bulk up and train they want to work the chest area with and use heavy weights but what they forget to do is work the back. Working just the arms and chest muscles will build you larger muscles if done correctly but you may also become hunched over as you have built more strength in the pecs overworking the chest muscles and they pull on the weaker muscles.
If you are struggling to bulk up get some help with supplements
